VX QuikTip #1

Leave me your comments!
I really do want to hear what you say.

As you can see, we are still learning about blogging.
With your input, I will be able to help you better.

I've been keeping busy with coaching VO talent and producing
the demos of students who started out just like you.

Here's a sneak peak at some of them...enjoy... then
share what you think.

Questions? Ask -- I am putting together more
VX QuikTip Videos to answer your questions.

Hi Curt - Thanks for this QuickTip. Very good advice and consistent with the teachings of great acting teachers like Sanford Meisner. He talked about the basic concept of living truthfully under imaginary circumstances: i.e. "borrowing" a circumstance and placing yourself fully into that world for a period of time, long enough to tell the story. I learned some time ago that great VO artists are - at their core - great actors. I look forward to learning more about your coaching.

Thanks for the tip, its a lot easier now to see where I need to try and come from, and to try and submerge myself in that to make it believable.

I look forward to working with you, Curt. My voice is somewhat damaged from the asthma medications I take, and I believe with your help I can overcome this problem.
